Loving blusher at the moment as I’m feeling super washed out!
Start by applying the blush to the apples of your cheeks, the easiest way to find your apples is by doing a big cheesy grin. Use a blusher brush in a circular motion over your apples, then long strokes up toward your ear. The MAC 187 Duo Fibre Brush is perfect for Blush and/or Highlighter, it’s $87 AUD but will last a couple of years as long as you clean it weekly.
Tip: If you’ve applied too much, use a large powder brush and blend, blend, blend!
Head into your favourite cosmetics counter and get one of the counter staff to try some shades on, this will ensure you get the perfect colour for you skintone.
If you want to invest in something beautiful then try the Chanel Joues Contraste which gives a touch of colour and leaves skin with a radiant finish, it comes with its own brush plus with a hint of rose fragrance it smells divine! My favourite colour is #58 Fresque.
I recommend that you make an appointment to have your make-up done for a night out which is usually around $60. This booking fee is then redeemable on products you purchase on the day, essentially you’re getting a complimentary make over.
